Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Petrochemical Facility in Detroit, MI to provide protective services at a chemical location. You will monitor access, respond to incidents, and conduct regular patrols to deter security threats while delivering professional customer service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or higher, valid driver's license, and background screening. Military or law enforcement experience and CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess one or more of the listed qualifications (education or military).
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access activity, verify credentials, and report unusual activity to site personnel.
• Document incidents and security activities accurately per site procedures.
