Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Access Control in Detroit, MI. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and provide customer service to drivers and personnel at a logistics location.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, responding to incidents, and patrolling the site. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, background check, and drug screen; 18+ for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will undergo a background investigation.
• A drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while enforcing access-control procedures at a logistics site.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, and manage check-in records.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency services.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and facility perimeter.
• Observe activity and report security-related concerns per site procedures.
