Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Detroit, MI. You will serve and safeguard clients across manufacturing sites, performing patrols, monitor access, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents. Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while enforcing site policies and access control.
• Conduct routine patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking, docks, offices, and perimeter to identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, document visitor/vehicle activity, and report unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify contacts and responders as required.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documents, and shift handoffs.
