Allied Universal in Detroit, MI is seeking a Security Officer Oil Refinery to safeguard facilities in a chemical/petrochemical environment. You will monitor, patrol, and deter incidents while delivering strong customer service, with a driving post requiring a valid license.

The role demands commitment to safety, compliance, and teamwork. As a Security Professional, you will participate in access control, incident response, and reporting while upholding Allied Universal’s standards of integrity

Qualifications

• Military/security service experience or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Background investigation required by law.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while enforcing site-specific security procedures in a chemical/petrochemical facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and access concerns calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, process areas, and perimeter locations; report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points; verify credentials and maintain logs and reports as required.
• Communicate observations and incidents to appropriate personnel and support emergency responders as directed.
