Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our SwedishAmerican Hospital in northern Illinois. The role requires completing an accredited nuclear medicine technology program or military training, plus two years of related clinical experience in a military setting.

Holders must provide a copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest degree obtained. A current ARRT/NMTCB certification or eligibility is required. Join a team focused on patient care and professional development.

Work Schedule

100% FTE, full-time. Day shift, Monday through Friday- 40 hours per week- 4 10 hour shifts. 630-5 pm No weekends or holidays. You will work at the UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
• Overtime

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, a recognized military nuclear medicine technology training program, or possess two years of related clinical experience in a military setting. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Active nuclear medicine accreditation from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency-Division of Nuclear Safety and current certification and current registration or registry eligible form the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB). Required
