Job summary

UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL seeks a radiologic technologist for 100% FTE shifts, including 2-12s, 2-8s, and every third weekend. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Benefits include extensive PTO, medical/dental/vision, retirement, and on-site daycare opportunities.

Requires ARRT Radiology certification, IEMA license, and CPR/BLS within 3 months. Prior hospital radiography experience preferred; strong patient care and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited radiologic technology program or military radiologic technologist training.
• Two years of related clinical experience in a military setting (preferred).
• ARRT certification in Radiology and current IEMA license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required within three months of hire.

Job description

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 2 - 12 hour shifts 10a-1030p, 2 - 8 hours shifts 12p-830p, Every 3rd weekend 2p-1030p with rotating call and holidays. You will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St. You may be eligible for up to a $10,000 sign on bonus.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
• Overtime

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited radiologic technology program, a recognized military radiologic technologist training program, or possess two years of related clinical experience in a military setting. Required

Work Experience

• Experience as a hospital radiographer. Preferred
• Previous healthcare experience (clinical training during Rad Tech program will count as experience). Required
• Two years of clinical experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Certification by ARRT in Radiology. Required
• Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency). Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification required within three (3) months of hire. Required
