Job summary

UW Health is seeking a radiologic technologist for the SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford, IL to cover a 100% FTE night shift with 2x12s and 2x8s, including every third weekend. This role includes ARRT/NMTCB credentials, Illinois licensure, and CPR within 3 months.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with a strong benefits package. Eligible candidates have completed an accredited radiologic technology program or military radiologic training, CPR within three months, CT certification

• Completed an accredited radiologic technology program or possess two years of related clinical experience in a military setting.
• Must provide HS diploma or equivalent or highest completed degree.
• Two years of hospital radiography/CT experience preferred.

Job description

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Night shift.

Monday-Friday 2x12s and 2x8s, between 1030p-7a, 7p-730a. Every third weekend 1030p-7a. Rotating call and holidays. This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus. You will work at the UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford, IL.

Additional components of compensation include impressive shift differentials - $3.50/ hr evening, $4.50/ hr night, and $3.75/ hr weekend shift differential as applicable for hours worked.

Other additional components of compensation may include:

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited radiologic technology program, a recognized military radiologic technologist training program, or possess two years of related clinical experience in a military setting. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• Experience as a hospital radiographer and CT technologist. Preferred
• Previous healthcare experience. Required
• Two years of clinical experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Certification by ARRT in Radiology or current NMTCB certification. Required
• CT certification within 24 months of hire. Preferred
• CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire. Required
• Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency). Required
• ARRT certification in CT. Preferred
