Job summary

UW Health in Rockford, IL is seeking a radiologic technologist for a per diem/PRN role at Swedish American Hospital. The position offers a varied schedule with a minimum of 8 hours per pay period when shifts are available and requires flexibility to cover open shifts based on department needs.

Preferred qualifications include ARRT Radiology certification, Illinois IEMA license, and BLS/CPR within three months of hire.

Job description

Work Schedule:

Per Diem/PRN with a varied schedule and one required holiday per year. Must work a minimum of 8 hours per pay period when shifts are available. Must be flexible to work open shifts based on department needs. You'll work at Swedish American Hospital

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited radiologic technology program, a recognized military radiologic technologist training program, or possess two years of related clinical experience in a military setting. Required

Work Experience

• Experience as a hospital radiographer. Preferred
• Previous healthcare experience (clinical training during Rad Tech program will count as experience). Required
• Two years of clinical experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Certification by ARRT in Radiology. Required
• Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency). Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification required within three (3) months of hire. Required
