Job summary

Tractor Supply Company and Petsense seeks a Team Member to provide legendary customer service, handle sales at the register, and support merchandising and stock tasks. Your role includes caring for live animals, assisting customers, and executing store procedures with accuracy.

The position requires flexibility with shifts, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining safety and compliance. Training and team support are provided.

Qualifications

• Pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and answer questions.
• Maintain merchandise and participate in freight processes and merchandising resets.
• Execute price changes/markdowns and ensure accurate documentation.
• Ensure safety and well-being of live animals and care for their habitat.
• Complete all documentation related to above duties.
