Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking Team Members to deliver legendary customer service while handling daily store duties and caring for live animals. This role supports selling initiatives, maintains merchandise, and processes transactions with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The position requires flexibility to work varied hours; no prior retail experience is mandatory, though pet knowledge is a plus. Training provided and a supportive team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required; retail and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required; reading, writing and counting skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Recovery of merchandise and participate in freight process.
• Execute Plan-o-gram merchandising, sets and resets.
• Assemble merchandise and assist customers with loading purchases.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of live animals and maintain habitats.
• Complete all documentation for duties listed.
