Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading a retail team.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; high school diploma/GED required.
• Microsoft Office knowledge and good communication skills.
• Ability to operate equipment including a forklift; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedules and reliable transportation; must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operational management of the store.
• Adhere to policies for cleanliness, animal care, safety and security.
• Promote team engagement and morale and help members achieve goals.
• Support maintaining a fully staffed team and onboarding.
• Provide onboarding and development opportunities with coaching.
• Partner with community organizations for events and marketing.
