Pet Supplies Plus currently seeks a Store Team Leader in Long Beach, CA to guide a neighborly retail crew and deliver exceptional service to pets and their people. You will supervise day-to-day operations, ensure a clean, safe shopping environment, and drive engagement.

The role requires 2+ years of retail leadership, a relevant education background, strong communication, and the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience leading retail teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; High school diploma/GED required.
• Microsoft Office knowledge and good communication skills.
• Ability to operate all equipment, including a forklift; climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team by example and provide exceptional neighborly service.
• Analyze store sales results and develop plans to maximize sales and engagement.
• Create a fun, positive environment and a reputation for pet-centric service.
• Lead recruiting and onboarding for all levels in the store.
• Coordinate with community organizations for events and marketing opportunities.
• Adhere to policies ensuring exceptional service is provided to neighbors.
