Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Store Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations, deliver exceptional neighborly service, and support the store team in achieving performance goals. This role emphasizes strong customer engagement, merchandise knowledge, and hands-on leadership in a lively neighborhood setting.

You will assist team leaders with daily procedures, cover manager-on-duty shifts, and help recruit and develop staff while upholding safety, cleanliness, and animal care standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of retail experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate forklift and perform physical tasks up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide neighborly service and leadership in daily operations.
• Assist customers in selecting products and answering questions.
• Greet regular customers and engage with the store community.
• Support store leaders with recruiting, onboarding and development of team members.
• Ensure adherence to policies, cleanliness, safety, and security.
