Job summary

IPP - Independent Pet Partners in Minnesota is seeking a Store Supervisor who will oversee daily operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and support the Store Manager in achieving sales and service goals.

You'll lead staff, train associates, manage front-end duties, maintain a clean, welcoming storefront, and participate in store events while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Passion for extraordinary customer service and the well-being of pets.
• Professional retail sales experience preferred.
• Professional supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to be educated about the products and services offered.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an exceptional experience.
• Assist the Store Manager in overall management of store operations.
• Share product knowledge to fit customer needs and promote pet health.
• Handle cash register, bagging, replenishing merchandise, and preparing displays.
• Organize and maintain a clean store front and stock room.
• Assist with markdowns, re-tickets, labeling products, and store events.
• All other assigned duties from the Store Manager and Retail Management Team.
