Job summary

Hollywood Feed is hiring a Sales Associate for the Pittsburgh location (1948 Greentree Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220). The role focuses on serving customers and keeping the store safe and efficient, aligning with our customer-first policy.

You will greet customers, share product knowledge, operate the POS system, stock shelves, and support store operations. The role offers a competitive hourly wage with tips and generous discounts for team members.

Qualifications

• Commitment to animals and their owners is vital at Hollywood Feed.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Proven sales and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of store products or ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to operate or learn the point-of-sale system.
• Valid driver's license with at least 2 years' driving experience.
• Utilize company approved biometric authentication systems and safely operate company equipment incorporating biometric, video, audio and other safety technologies.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers according to Hollywood Feed's established customer service standards.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of store products to effectively address customer and pet needs.
• Uphold respectful and open communication with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
• Work efficiently both independently and collaboratively as a team member.
• Unload and properly stock product deliveries.
• Operate the Hollywood Feed POS system, including opening/closing registers, creating customer accounts, processing transactions, and inventory tasks.
• Participate in weekly educational sessions.
• Perform routine store maintenance and price updates.
• Safely operate company vehicles and deliver Same Day Delivery orders as needed.
