Job description

Now Hiring & Training: Pet-Passionate Retail Sales Associate

At this time, we are only considering people who are available long term. This is not a seasonal position.

GUT-CHECK / SUMMARY

We're looking for part-time employees with retail experience and a desire to develop a long-term career. You're a smart, high-energy, positive-minded pet lover. Maybe your skills have gone unnoticed at Petco or PFE, and you think you'd be a better fit at a smaller store more intensely focused on helping pets and their owners. Or maybe you're currently under-appreciated in a larger corporate retail environment and would like to have more of an impact on your store. We'll train you about the pet world and our role in it.

You are applying for "Rover / Relief Cashier." In this role, you will work in all 3 of our locations. Interviews and Basic Training take place in our Novato store. After training, you will be scheduled to cover the shifts of people who are on vacation or outsick. Adaptable and flexible are two of your greatest strengths, because your schedule will vary. It is a perfect position for someone who is self-employed or otherwise has flexibility around the hours they work. Down the road, when a non-Rover position opens up, you can request to be assigned to that location as your Home Store, if you wish. Our 3 stores are all in Marin County, and all within a few miles of each other.(Greenbrae, Tiburon, and Novato).
