Job summary

Hollywood Feed in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a Third Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. This role opens and closes the store, assists customers, and helps ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations while upholding our customer-first policy.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15.50 to $19 per hour, with weekend availability and opportunities to learn store operations, stock management, POS transactions, and delivery responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Commitment to animals and their owners.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Proven sales and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of store products or ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to operate the point-of-sale system.
• Valid driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Arrive before opening and stay after closing to prepare for business.
• Assume managerial duties in the absence of management.
• Greet and assist customers per standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of store products for pets and customers.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors and coworkers.
• Work independently or as part of a team; train new employees.
• Open weekends; close 3 nights per week.
• Unload and stock deliveries.
• Operate POS system: open/close registers, create accounts, process transactions, inventory tasks.
• Attend all scheduled Hollywood Feed educational sessions.
• Perform weekly store maintenance and related duties.
• Take on additional administrative duties as assigned.
• Safely operate company vehicles and deliver Same Day orders.
