Job summary

Petco is seeking a Key Holder to join our Pet Care Center team. You will help ensure smooth daily operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for pets, customers, and partners.

You will supervise partners, open/close the store, manage cash handling, and support merchandising standards while upholding Petco’s care and safety policies. Flexible evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience required; key holder or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and experience handling cash and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, serving as a point of contact when management is absent.
