Job summary

PetSmart is looking for an Experience Leader to drive the pet parent experience and store performance. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional service, oversee daily operations, and ensure safety and compliance, while aligning with company values and goals.

This role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and a strong focus on customer experience in a retail environment. The position requires full-time availability and flexibility across scheduling, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail leadership or customer-focused experience.
• Full-time availability; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach associates to ensure safe and healthy pet care.
• Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Manage daily tasks and staffing for store needs.
• Ensure pet parent experience across services and events.
• Drive store P&L with sales and shrink targets.
• Maintain store standards and compliance with policies.
