Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts, part of National Veterinary Associates, seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead a high-performing team and oversee daily operations. You will develop team members, drive service excellence, and partner with the General Manager to deliver outstanding pet care and guest experiences.

The role emphasizes coaching, problem-solving, and building a positive workplace culture within a fast-growing pet care organization. Evening and weekend hours are required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of customer service experience (leadership experience a plus)
• Hospitality, retail, restaurant, or veterinary experience preferred
• Strong communication and people leadership skills
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and up to 45-50 hours per week
• Bilingual skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and model NVA values and leadership competencies
• Coach, train, and develop Shift Leads and Team Members
• Resolve customer concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Lead 1-2 shifts per week as Manager on Duty
• Support execution of sales and marketing initiatives and review KPIs
