Pet Paradise is seeking a Resort Manager in Houston, Texas, to lead daily resort operations, staff oversight, and guest care. You will manage schedules, coaching, and performance in a on-site environment, focusing on safety, service quality, and financial results.

The role requires 3-5 years in management over 20–30 staff, a degree (or equivalent), and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Mobility for travel/relocation may be needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a management role overseeing 20–30 employees
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree (or equivalent) preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience with interviewing, hiring, evaluating candidates, and performance reviews
• Leadership experience in animal care, retail, hospitality, or related fields
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable around dogs and able to lift up to 60 lbs
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Lead daily resort operations and oversee staff performance
• Manage staffing: schedules, payroll, and hiring
• Coach team and deliver ongoing development
• Maintain high standards of service, safety, and cleanliness
• Monitor customer experience metrics and address issues
• Review financials and control costs within budgets
• Handle customer escalations and policy procedures
• Ensure compliance with operational safety and reporting protocols
