Job summary
Pet Paradise in Matthews, NC is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee day-to-day resort operations and staff, reporting to the Resort Manager. You will recruit, train, and coach employees, ensuring premier service to pet guests and their parents in a clean, safe, and friendly environment.
You will manage labor, schedules, onboarding, and performance, while maintaining high customer service metrics and collaborating with regional teams.
Qualifications
- Supervisory/management experience required.
- Strong leadership, communication, collaboration skills.
- Ability to train and motivate employees.
- Retail/restaurant/hospitality leadership preferred; animal care experience preferred.
- Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs; schedule flexibility.
- Valid driver's license.

- Oversee daily resort operations and staff.
- Create and post staff schedules; manage labor hours.
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboarding.
- Coach and develop team; ensure premier service.
