Job summary

K9 Resorts of Dumbo seeks a Pet Resort Guest Service Representative to be the face of the company, delivering a "wow experience" to clients and their dogs. You will uphold our mission and values, ensuring every interaction is positive and VIP-worthy.

You will greet customers, handle check-in/check-out and reservations, oversee pet custody, answer calls, and provide tours when needed. This role includes dog feeding, medicating, playtime, body checks, and facility sanitation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some weekend and holiday hours are required.
• Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers entering the building.
• Follow all operational procedures as outlined in the K9 Resorts Operations Manual.
• Take custody of pets and ensure they are properly placed in the building.
• Perform check-in/check-out and reservation procedures in the POS system.
• Answer telephone inquiries.
• Provide tours of the facility to potential customers when necessary.
• Feed and medicate all dogs.
• Provide personal playtimes for dogs when requested.
• Perform body checks to identify pre-existing conditions and/or injuries.
• Sanitation of the lobby, boarding, and daycare accommodations; monitor daycare; bathe dogs.
