Job summary

Pet Resort Guest Service Representative at K9 Resorts of Dumbo is the face of our company, ensuring every client and dog enjoys a memorable, VIP experience. You will uphold our mission and values with positive interactions and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, check-in/check-out, reservations, pet custody, tours, feeding and medicating dogs, playtimes, body checks, sanitation, daycare monitoring, and bathing as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some weekend and holiday hours are required.
• Salesmanship mindset and comfort with customers.
• Outgoing, positive, and enthusiastic personality.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the building.
• Follow all operating procedures in the Operations Manual.
• Perform check-in/check-out and reservations in the POS system.
• Take custody of pets and ensure proper placement in the building.
• Answer telephone inquiries.
• Provide facility tours to potential customers when needed.
• Feed and medicate dogs.
• Provide personal playtimes for dogs when requested.
• Perform body checks to identify pre-existing conditions or injuries.
• Sanitation of lobby, boarding, and daycare areas.
• Monitor daycare operations.
• Bathing dogs.
