Job summary

PetSuites Novi is seeking a General Manager to lead our Novi, Michigan resort. You will own site performance, drive revenue, manage costs, and mentor a team delivering exceptional pet care and customer service.

This on-site role requires strong leadership, hands-on operations, and the ability to grow revenue while maintaining high standards of guest experience. You will guide front- and back-of-house teams, implement brand standards, and lead through performance metrics to hit goals in a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of management experience with P&L responsibility.
• Strong operational leadership and coaching ability.
• Strong P&L management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Able to work up to 45–50 hours per week, including evenings/weekends.
• Valid driver's license, current insurance, and a vehicle for pet transport in emergencies.
• Ability to drive change in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, communicate the company mission and objectives.
• Develop leadership bench and coach the team to meet goals.
• Own resort performance including revenue, labor, costs, and EBITDA.
• Build and execute a data-driven plan aligned to regional initiatives.
• Drive a sales strategy and local marketing to grow demand.
• Hire, onboard, train, and retain a high-performing team.
• Ensure safety, pet care, facility standards, and compliance.
• Lead shifts as Manager on Duty and manage daily audits.
