Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts is seeking a General Manager for PetSuites Novi in Novi, Michigan. You will own daily operations, guest experience, revenue growth, and profitability while leading a team to deliver outstanding pet care and customer service.

The role blends hands-on leadership with business ownership, driving operating results and a culture of high performance. Excellent communication and leadership are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of management experience with Profit and Loss responsibility
• Strong operational leadership and the ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
• Availability to work up to 45 to 50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
• Valid driver’s license, current insurance and vehicle for pet transport in emergencies
• Ability to drive change and improve processes in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead resort performance against budget and key metrics including revenue and EBITDA
• Build and execute data-driven resort plans aligned to company initiatives
• Develop and coach the leadership team (Assistant General Manager, Shift Leads, Team Members)
• Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive lead generation and retention
• Oversee operations, guest experience, safety, and compliance across front- and back-of-house
