Destination Pet is seeking a Customer Service Representative at Pups at Play Montclair. You will warmly welcome pet parents and their furry friends, answer calls, and guide tours while promoting services. Expect a friendly, fast-paced environment with opportunities to assist in daily operations.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask across phones, in person, and email. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 1+ year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with multi-line phones and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist pet parents and their pets as a friendly face.
• Answer phones with a cheerful, professional demeanor.
• Tour facilities to prospective clients and promote services.
• Ensure vaccines are up-to-date on client records for safety.
• Manage check-ins/check-outs and handle cash/transactions.
• Address complaints with patience and professionalism.
• Escort pets to and from enclosures and keep lobby tidy.
• Support teammates and cover duties as needed.
