Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Orlando seeks a qualified PET & Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform Gamma Camera and PET/CT imaging, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure patient safety. You will operate imaging equipment, perform quality control, and assist physicians with accurate diagnoses while maintaining compliance with safety guidelines.

The role requires NMTCB certification, Florida licensure, CPR and ACLS, and a commitment to quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or an equivalent with applicable experience.
• AMA approved school of radiography completion is required.
• NMTCB certification and Florida licensure/cme requirements.
• CPR and ACLS certification.
• Two 10-hour shifts per week are not stated; full-time position implied.

Responsibilities

• Perform Gamma Camera and PET/CT imaging per RAYUS protocols.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals in correct dosages.
• Maintain safety and proper handling of radioactive materials.
• Operate and adjust nuclear medicine cameras to ensure high-quality images.
• Conduct daily/weekly quality control testing to verify equipment function.
• Explain procedures to patients and collect medical history.
• Assist interpreting physician to support accurate diagnosis.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Support ACR accreditation activities as needed.
