Ideal candidates are graduates of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program with CNMT or ARRT(N) certification, Florida license, and BLS, aligned with ALARA and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Must maintain current Florida State License as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Must maintain current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
• CNMT by NMTCB OR ARRT(N) certification must be held (or dual-certified) by the candidate.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine, therapeutic nuclear medicine, PET scanning, and radiopharmacy functions.
• Delivers patient care and maintains professional demeanor.
• Performs quality control on Nuclear Medicine instrumentation.
• Maintains records as required by Florida Department of Health, Radiation Control.
• Ensures safety and compliance with applicable regulations.
