Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to operate PET/CT scanners for diagnostic imaging and patient care. You will guide patients through procedures, ensure safety, and maintain accurate records in the RIS system.

The role requires NMTCB or ARRT Nuclear Medicine registration, an AMA-approved radiography education, CPR certification, and the ability to perform PET/CT procedures independently. CT certification is preferred and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine (current and in good standing).
• CPR certification current.
• AMA approved radiography program graduation.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in applicable state, if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate PET/CT scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for imaging.
• Maintain patient records in RIS and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Perform QC procedures on PET/CT equipment and monitor radiation safety.
• Assist with protocol updates, inventory, and staff training.
