Job summary

PetSmart is seeking a PetsHotel Lead to oversee the PetsHotel and support store operations. You will lead a team, ensure high-quality guest experiences, manage safety and cleanliness, and coordinate daily activities to uphold PetSmart’s standards.

The role requires 2+ years of supervisory retail experience, flexibility for full-time schedules including evenings and weekends, and strong communication skills to foster a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience with a customer-focused environment.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Full-time availability; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate associate experience and development including training, onboarding, mentoring, coaching and performance feedback.
• Lead as the on-duty leader and delegate daily tasks.
• Oversee PetsHotel operations and store opening/closing to uphold brand promise.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the facility and supervise guest experiences.
• Coordinate events, promotions and merchandise/services selling.
• Maintain store standards and empower staff while following policies and procedures.
