Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospitals in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and patient flow, support the veterinary team, and deliver friendly, efficient service while educating clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and services.

The role emphasizes front-line customer care, accurate documentation, appointment scheduling, product sales, and contributing to a positive hospital atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year related experience preferred with customer service.
• Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through a productive and efficiently run hospital to support wellness plan clients.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times; educate clients about pet health and services.
• Assist incoming clients by completing documentation, entering pet information and history in the computer, and scheduling future appointments.
• Coordinate finances by maintaining accurate balances and following opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
