Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus in Marble Falls, TX is seeking a Groom Tech/Bather to learn grooming skills through the Paragon School of Pet Grooming and provide care for dogs and other pets. You will join a friendly team, perform bathing, brushing and nail trimming, and support customers with product recommendations.

This entry-level role includes free distance education through Paragon, a tool kit upon hire if enrolling, and opportunities to grow into grooming with ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or pet-related work is a plus but not required.
• Able to interact with customers and pets in a friendly manner.
• Willingness to learn grooming techniques and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Delighting neighbors and pets with grooming services, such as brushing, bathing, and trimming nails.
• Learning and demonstrating the skills necessary to become a groomer through the online distance program.
• Always ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons.
• Developing long-term relationships with neighbors by understanding their needs and recommending products and services.
• Performing routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment inviting.
• Successfully completing Safety Training certification.
• Assisting store team members during grooming downtime.
