Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is hiring a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech) to learn grooming through Paragon School of Pet Grooming. You will gain hands‑on experience bathing, brushing, and trimming dogs while assisting with routine grooming duties and safety practices.

The position offers paid training, a supportive team, and opportunities to advance into grooming as you complete the program, with flexible scheduling and neighborly service emphasis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible in working evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Candidates must pass a drug screening and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Delighting Neighbors and pets with grooming services, such as brushing, bathing, and trimming nails.
• Learning and demonstrating the skills necessary to become a groomer through the online distance program.
• Ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons at all times.
• Developing long‑term relationships with Neighbors by understanding their needs and recommending products and services.
• Performing routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment inviting.
• Completing Safety Training certification.
• Assisting store team members during grooming downtime.
