Pet Supplies Plus in McMurray, PA is seeking a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech) to start a grooming journey while delivering friendly, neighborly service to pets and their people.

You will train through Paragon School of Pet Grooming with free access and a bonus tool kit upon enrollment. The role emphasizes safety, pet wellness, and customer care in a pet-friendly retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or other industry working with pets is a plus, but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Delight neighbors and pets with grooming services including brushing, bathing, and nail trimming.
• Learn and demonstrate skills to become a groomer through the online distance program.
• Ensure the wellness and safety of furry patrons at all times.
• Build long-term relationships by understanding pet owners' needs and recommending products and services.
• Perform routine cleaning to keep the grooming area inviting.
• Complete Safety Training certification.
• Assist store team during grooming downtime.
