Job summary

Insight Imaging is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to produce diagnostic images and guide patients through procedures. This position involves patient imaging, safety compliance, and operational support in the PET/CT Department.

Qualifications

• NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state, if required.

Job description

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a PET/CT Technologist to join our team. As a Positron Emission Tomography–Computed Tomography (PET/CT) Technologist, you will operate your assigned scanner(s) to produce diagnostic images, provide excellent customer service, and guide patients through the procedures.

Position Type: PRN, working various hours from 6:30am – 6:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Patient PET/CT Imaging (90%) – Screen patients for precautions, explain procedures, perform imaging, adjust scan parameters, maintain records, ensure safety and compliance, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and keep the environment clean.
• PET/CT Department Support (5%) – Assist with protocol manuals and software upgrades, monitor supplies, train new associates, perform routine quality control on equipment, and complete departmental radiation studies.
• Other tasks as assigned (5%).

Required Qualifications

• NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine, current and in good standing.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state, if required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Training and experience sufficient to perform PET/CT procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual.
• ARRT certification in CT.
• NMTCB PET Specialty certification.
