Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to operate scanners, educate patients, and deliver high-quality imaging services. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and accurate record-keeping within the RIS.

You will work with radiologists to ensure diagnostic accuracy while maintaining equipment and safety standards. The position includes responsibilities for performing routine quality control, handling radiopharmaceuticals, and supporting department training in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiography.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must competently perform PET/CT procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Operate PET/CT scanners to acquire diagnostic images per standards.
• Explain procedures to patients and position them correctly for imaging.
• Maintain patient records in RIS and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Perform quality control and ensure compliance with ACR/AOA guidelines.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals under NRC/state regulations and safety rules.
• Maintain equipment, train associates, and monitor department standards.
