Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to operate scanners and provide high-quality imaging for diagnosis and treatment. You will guide patients through exams, ensure safety, and uphold professional standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Position emphasizes patient-centered care, accurate record-keeping in RIS, and compliance with HIPAA; previous PET/CT experience and active licensure in the state are required.

Qualifications

• Must have AMA approved school of radiography.
• NMTCB or ARRT registration in Nuclear Medicine.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in required state.
• CPR certification is current and valid.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients and verifies identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
• Explain procedures and prepare patients for PET/CT imaging and position for optimal results.
• Perform routine and advanced PET/CT imaging with minimal supervision.
• Adjust scan parameters and apply dose-reduction techniques as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in RIS and uphold HIPAA guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain PET/CT equipment cleanliness and safety standards.

Education

AMA approved school of radiography

NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist – Nuclear Medicine

Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state

CPR certification
