Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PET-CT Technologist for our Arizona facilities. This part-time role involves performing PET-CT procedures, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring high-quality imaging across multiple sites.

Candidates should hold NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification, CPR, and a High School diploma or equivalent. State licensing as required, with ability to work at several locations. Excellent patient communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or ARRT (N).
• State license as required; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and radiation safety compliance; screen for contraindications.
• Produce high quality diagnostic PET-CT images.
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists and staff.
• Train new technologists and/or PC's as needed.
• Troubleshoot the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, coils).
