Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a full-time PET-CT technologist to perform PET-CT imaging under radiology supervision, blending diagnostic CT with metabolic imaging to support patient care. The role includes quality control, patient escort services, and participation in training and committee work to maintain ACR accreditation, with Monday–Friday, 7am–5:30pm shifts.

Requirements: high school diploma; ARRT radiography or NM certification; NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification; CPR; 2

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT radiography or NM certification required.
• NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Advanced CT and PET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET-CT imaging under radiologist supervision.
• Handle quality control and patient escort services.
• Participate in training, committee work and maintenance of ACR accreditation.
• Contribute to department operations and safety protocols.
