Job summary

MyMichigan Health in Midland, MI is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a range of imaging procedures using gamma cameras, PET, and associated radiopharmacy tasks. You will ensure ALARA safety, operate instrumentation, and document doses and QC.

The role requires an associate degree, ARRT/NMTCB certification eligibility, and familiarity with RIS/HIS. You will collaborate with radiology staff, supervise trainees as needed, and participate in safety and quality improvement

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare-related field or equivalent.
• 1700 hours of clinical instruction and two years of experience as Nuclear Medicine technologist.
• Knowledge of RIS and HIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Injects and administers radiopharmaceuticals and calculates activity concentrations.
• Review patient history, instruct the patient, and monitor for adverse events during procedures.
• IV access, aseptic technique, and blood glucose testing per protocol.
• Operates Nuclear Medicine Instrumentation devices and performs quality control.
• Assist in radiation safety programs, scheduling, and departmental operations.
