Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to operate PET/CT scanners and deliver high-quality diagnostic images. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and clear communication with patients throughout the exam process.

The position is part-time (under 20 hours weekly) with Thursday 10-hour shifts, focusing on imaging and QC tasks while ensuring compliance with ACR/AOA guidelines and regulatory requirements. Join a team dedicated to clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be NMTCB or ARRT registered in Nuclear Medicine.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiography.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have training and experience to perform PET/CT procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Operate PET/CT scanners to produce diagnostic images with patient-centered care.
• Screen patients and prepare them for PET/CT imaging per safety standards.
• Perform routine and advanced PET/CT imaging with minimal supervision.
• Adjust scan parameters and apply dose reduction techniques when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in RIS and ensure clean work area.
• Comply with HIPAA, safety regulations, and regulatory requirements.
