Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Rock Hill, South Carolina is seeking a PRN PET/CT Technologist to operate PET/CT scanners and provide patient-centered imaging services in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform routine and advanced PET/CT imaging, explain procedures to patients, ensure safety and quality, maintain records, and comply with HIPAA and regulatory standards while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine, current and in good standing.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiography.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Training and experience to competently perform PET/CT procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Operate PET/CT scanners to produce diagnostic images for physicians.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for PET/CT imaging.
• Maintain patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Follow safety regulations and physicians' orders, ensuring patient and staff safety.
• Perform quality control and ensure compliance with ACR/AOA guidelines.
