Associates In Medical Imaging, LLC is seeking a PET Technologist to perform PET and CT imaging, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images. You will operate PET/CT equipment, document findings, and maintain safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, effective communication with clinicians, and strict adherence to radiology protocols. Experience with PET/CT preferred, with licensure and certifications as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Radiography program.
• Current ARRT certification/registration in Radiography.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine through ARRT(N) or NMTCB, as applicable.
• CT certification and/or documented clinical competency as required by regulations and standards.
• Minimum of one year of PET/CT experience preferred, or completion of an approved PET/CT training program with clinical experience.
• Current state licensure as required.
• Strong technical, communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, educate, and safely position patients for PET/CT procedures and verify orders.
• Prepare, handle, and administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocol and safety standards.
• Perform PET/CT examinations including positioning, image acquisition, processing, and quality evaluation.
• Operate PET/CT and related imaging equipment and conduct quality control procedures.
• Review images for technical quality and obtain additional imaging as directed by radiologist.
• Document patient and imaging information accurately in RIS, PACS, EMR, and related systems.
• Monitor patients during procedures and communicate with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with safety, regulatory, and licensure requirements.
