MidLantic Urology is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using PET and CT scanners, ensuring safety, patient care, and collaboration with radiologists. The role requires ARRT certification in Radiography with CT, NMTCB/ARRT PET imaging certification as required by state, and BLS as needed.

The candidate will greet patients, screen for contraindications, document procedures in EMR, and maintain equipment per safety protocols. Travel between facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of PET/CT imaging protocols and safety.
• Familiarity with ACR accreditation processes.
• Proficiency in operating PET/CT and related equipment and software.
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a clinical setting.
• Accurate documentation in EMR and patient records.

Responsabilités

• Greet and prepare patients for CT/PET imaging procedures and explain the process.
• Screen patients for contraindications to imaging.
• Document patient information, procedures and administered substances in EMR.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes as needed.
• Perform PET/CT exams and obtain optimal images per policy and protocol.
• Administer contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals per guidelines.
• Maintain PET/CT equipment and report issues.
• Collaborate with radiology staff to optimize patient care and workflow.
• Adhere to HIPAA and safety regulations.
