Job summary

Catalyst MedTech is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, and service advanced diagnostic imaging equipment across Southern California, focusing on PET/CT cameras. The role requires diagnosing complex issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have an electronics/biomedical technology background, 2+ years of imaging service experience, and the ability to read schematics and service manuals. Travel up to 75% may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience servicing diagnostic or molecular imaging equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, diagrams, service manuals, specifications, and system data.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair PET, PET/CT, CT, SPECT, and SPECT/CT systems at customer sites.
• Perform system installations and integrations ensuring proper configuration for clinical environments.
• Document service activity including issues found, repairs, parts used, and follow-up actions.
