Job summary

Petco is seeking a Key Holder in St. Charles, MO to support store leadership, supervise partners on the floor, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for pets and customers.

You will manage daily store operations, merchandising, and inventory, while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service. The role requires shift coverage including evenings and weekends, with a focus on teamwork and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Previous retail supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience handling cash and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store according to policy and maintain cash handling procedures.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service and lead by example on the sales floor.
• Assist with training and guiding store partners to meet store goals and standards.
• Maintain merchandise presentation, pricing, signage, and planograms.
• Support inventory activities, restocking, cycle counts, and shrink awareness.
• Act as primary contact in the absence of store management and resolve customer concerns.
