Qualifications

• Fluent English communication with strong written and verbal skills.

• Strong numerical ability to handle basic measurements and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Prepare the treatment room for examination of pets and all necessary medical items and supplies for the veterinarian and/or technician.
• Maintain the flow of the Cycle of Service and provide client education on preventive care and wellness plans.
• Hold or restrain pets during examination, treatment, or inoculation.
• Prepare routine in-house laboratory tests as allowed by state rules and regulations.
• Monitor comfort of hospitalized patients and ensure their wellbeing.
• Bathe and dip pets as needed to treat dermatological conditions.
• Clean the surgical suite and instruments.
• Ensure hospital cleanliness including laundry, dishes, mopping, and waste removal.
• Other job duties as assigned.
