Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply in Hobbs, NM is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks while delivering legendary service.

You will operate the cash register, assist customers with loading purchases, and ensure the safety and care of live animals in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexibility with hours is required and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Retail experience or live animal knowledge preferred.
• Read, write and count accurately regardless of education level.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.
• Basic computer skills desirable and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours, including nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Support selling initiatives with customers.
• Operate cash register and handle cash per procedures.
• Recover merchandise and participate in freight process.
• Execute plan-o-gram merchandising, sets and resets.
• Assemble merchandise and perform loading assistance.
• Perform janitorial duties and maintain store cleanliness.
• Handle and care for live animals and their habitats.
• Complete all documentation for duties performed.
• Team Members may be assigned other duties as needed.
