Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers and team members while supporting selling initiatives and providing legendary customer service. You will handle cash, assist customers with purchases, and help maintain live animals in a safe, clean environment.

The role requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, with opportunities for part-time or full-time hours. Prior retail or pet knowledge is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required; retail or pet knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Recover merchandise and participate in freight process.
• Execute Plan-o-gram merchandising and resets.
• Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes/markdowns and assist customers loading purchases.
• Care for live animals, including food, bedding and habitat, and maintain holding tanks.
• Complete all documentation for duties performed.
